BMA (UK) Political Commissar

The Steering Committee of the Buddhist Marxism Alliance (UK) hereby authorises the creation of the rank of ‘Political Commissar’ (政委 – Zheng Wei), amongst its Membership, and endorses the use of Political Commissars as a means to ensure that the People have access to free and ideologically sound educational material.
This is the purposeful dissemination of Socialist and Communist educational material amongst the masses that is deemed suitable, beneficial, and productive toward a Socialist and Communist Worldwide Revolution. This knowledge must be progressive and advance humanity toward its next stage of psychological and physical evolution.

A BMA (UK) Political Commissar is appointed by the BMA (UK) Steering Committee, or its appointed representative.
A BMA (UK) Political Commissar either has, or will acquire the appropriate level of Marxist education suitable to fulfil the duties associated with this post.
A BMA (UK) Political Commissar should be a Marxist, (or a suitable Leftist), who is also a practicing Buddhist.
A BMA (UK) Political Commissar has one primary function: to defend the ideology of the Marxist inspired World Revolution that is the natural consequence of the historical forces generated by the corrupt capitalist system that creates within its unbridled greed and ruthlessness, the seeds of its own demise.
A BMA (UK) Political Commissar ensures that the masses that adhere to Buddhism do not degenerate their practice into bourgeois religiosity, superstition, greed, hatred, and delusion.
A BMA (UK) Political Commissar defends the correct interpretation of the Buddha-Dharma as Revolutionary Wisdom.
